    Raglan Castle
Haven't got enough time to post most of the photos I've taken in the last month but here's a snapshot from another good place to visit, Raglan Castle

    Margam Park Charity Shoot
I took the day off work on Monday to go to a charity photo shoot at Margam Park in South Wales. Had a really good day even if it rained and most of the models didn't turn up - I have a feeling those 2 may be related. It's a great place to visit for anyone near Swansea, only £3 to park the car and free entry, ruined abbey, lake, fairyland for the kids, castle, lovely grounds and even the food was cheap. I shall do my best to return.

    Some more nudes
Some more nudes from yesterday, if you want to be added to my nudes friends filter to see more nudes then let me know as I'll only be posting them there in future.

Fairly worksafe nudes, no genitals or nipples

Let me know what you think

I've done an incredible amount of Photoshoots in the last month (too many to remember) and I've been working with lots of models who prefer doing nudes but I'm not sure what to do with the images afterwards (I don't think you're allowed to put nudes on facebook and I probably want to keep my own website family friendly for now) so I was wondering if anyone would be interested in seeing them here? I might create a custom friends filter (can I do that as a free member?), if you'd like to be added then let me know. A fun nude from today is here: Click here to see photo, Warning, definitely not safe for work, full frontal nudity

If anyone has any other suggestions as to what to do with them then let me know

On arriving in the office yesterday I discovered the boss had bought a new gadget for us. So we now have a communal Wii in the office. This afternoon has been designated a games afternoon so we shall all be Wiiing together.

Outside of work I have some awesome photographic projects in the pipeline, I just hope at least some of them materialize (one of them even makes the Milan trip seem like a camping holiday in Burnham).

Hoping to be in Brighton on 16th/17th/18th of August so if Brighton peeps let me know if they're available around that time I'll call in.

Life is busy, busy, busy at the moment, suddenly it's summer and there are 20 times as many things going on as there were in the winter. On Friday I went to Goodwood for the festival of speed with my Dad as his birthday present, then yesterday morning more male bonding with my Dad making some studio lighting accessories, yesterday afternoon was spent driving back then quickly testing the accessories on housemate Pete before going to the local and playing Hello magazine the boardgame with Pete. We managed a dead heat, so we're equally bad on questions about celebrities.

A few recent portraits for those old-fashioned people who don't have facebook:

    Comments/criticism appreciated, apologies to [info]kissycat1000 for not getting the first photo straight ;

Had a pretty cool weekend, drove to Salisbury on Friday night to do the photography for the Midsummer Night's Ball, Photos here then headed up to Stonehenge for the Solstice but somehow missed that (but that's another story) then hung around at Stonehenge on Saturday morning before heading back and doing a photoshoot with Carla. Attempted to watch Hero on Saturday night but couldn't stay awake or make sense of the plot (those two might be related) and did a photoshoot with 4 other photographers and 3 models all day on Sunday.

I haven't sorted through the first day's photos yet but here's the second day when the girls arrived.

I need to narrow these down to the best ones but cannot decide which ones to keep and which to discard. Can you let me know which one you like the most, and which you like the least. Thanks

EDIT: The model in most of the pics is also on the front cover of Which Digital Camera this month

As noone even attempted to guess the model's age in the last photo, here's another chance to guess

    All other criticism gratefully received

I spent the weekend doing 2 more photoshoots so instead of having 998 photos left to edit up, I now have about 1200 I want to edit *cries*

Need more hours in the day damnit

Went out to Start the Bus on Friday night, I'd recommend it to anyone in Bristol as a funky new place to go for all the cool, fashionable young people such as myself *cough*

On Saturday I went to Pandora's box (well, to the Crown anyway) and caught up with [info]mandalorean and toni

Here's the first photo from yesterday )

    Can you guess her age?

Thanks for all your replies and useful criticism of the photo I posted up yesterday, a lot more reponse than I expected which was great. 1 down, 999 to go now so here's the next, same girl a couple of hours later. What do you think is wrong with this one (I've spotted a few things already).

    Which one of these?
I'm still unsure as to whether to leave this girl's tattoos in place or not. Let me know whether I should edit out her tattoos and which of the 3 photos you prefer

The first image is straight from the camera, the other 2 have had some smoothing work done on the skin

I'm just recovering from an amazing 10 days, In that time I've shot over 3000 portraits of 16 different models and I like about a thousand of them. On the weekend of the 18th I arranged a shoot in a Bristol bar and had 6 models and 3 photographers running around having waterfights, during the following week I flew to Milan with 3 models and last weekend I rented out another bar in Bristol (The Woods) and had another 7 models and 4 photographers to play with.

I now have a huge mountain of photos to edit so I doubt I'll see daylight for a while. I have a couple more shoots booked for Saturday and Sunday but other than that it's a life in front of a computer. Damn computers, can't get away from them.

    Photos coming soon

I have a few props I'm looking to find for a photoshoot on Saturday. If anyone in Bristol has the following then I wouldn't mind borrowing them:

    - A brown leather or leather effect suitcase, the older and more battered and the more character the better
    - A pair of 1970s headphones (the big chunky ones)
    - A 1970s microphone
    - Any band posters from the late seventies/early 80s punk bands
    - any other props in the style of Debbie Harry/Blondie and other punk bands (electric guitars, zebra-stripe cushions etc, punky wigs - where's [info]ghostpaw when I need her?)

While I'm posting here are some portraits of people some of you may know including [info]the_smut_fairy

I attended a photography workshop with Scott Church at the weekend which I really enjoyed. It was the first bit of training I've ever had in photography and I was pleasantly surprised to find that I completely agreed with everything I was being taught. I then completely ignored everything I had been taught and ran around like a boy in a sweetshop taking photos of all the pretty models doing the same things I usually do (sorry Scott). I am however making lots of notes about what I was taught and I shall be introducing the techniques one by one in the coming months as I do believe they are the right way to go, it was just a bit too much to try out in one day.

Here are the first batch of photos I took during the day

I shot 11 different models in an afternoon and a lot of that was teaching time so they were all a bit rushed and it shows in the details, but never mind, at least I'm improving with each shoot.
